Cars of the futureThe future generation of cars will gradually be less dependent on regular gasoline or fossil fuels. It will be hybrid. The word hybrid means something that is mixed together from two things. A new type of vehicle that is on the roads are known as hybrid cars. Its primary power comes from the gasoline engine, but it uses the electric motor when it is accelerating or climbing hills. The electric motor does not need an external power supply for recharging. Its batteries are recharged by regenerative braking. This means that energy from forward momentum is captured during braking. This energy is then used to recharge the batteries. It uses advanced technology and may combine a small gas engine with an electric motor. Moving at slow speeds, the car will rely on its electric motor. But when driving around the city areas and at highways, it will shift to both the gasoline motor and the electric motor, while at the same time - recharging its battery.
